Hey there. I’m Desmond Knipe, writer of speculative fiction that bends genres, expands minds, and dares to ask, “What if the old myths were right—and the tech just hadn’t caught up yet?”

I write stories that blend science fiction, fantasy, mysticism, and real-world systems. Not the kind of mysticism that floats above us, but the kind buried in the soil, encoded in our bodies, and hiding in plain sight. My debut series, The NAMUH Trilogy, explores a near-future Earth where psychic evolution, ancient intelligences, and conscious technology collide. It’s fiction, yes, but it’s built on truths we’re just beginning to remember.

Before becoming an author, I wore a few other skins, entrepreneur, builder, seeker, questioner. Now, I weave what I’ve learned (and unlearned) into worlds that ask the reader to not just imagine, but awaken.

I believe stories should challenge as much as they comfort. That characters should bleed, sweat, and stumble toward something bigger. And that readers are intelligent, curious, and ready for something more.
